It is narrated by Ummul Mu’minin, Sayyidatuna Aisha Siddiqa (رضی اللہُ تعالی عنہا) that the Beloved Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Nikah (marriage) is part of my Sunnah, so whoever does not act upon my Sunnah is not from me. Therefore, get married, for I will take pride in your numbers before other nations. Whoever is able to marry should do so, and whoever cannot, should fast, for fasting breaks the intensity of desire."
